Starting the journey for a second time.

Back in 2009, I had let myself go physically. I was 24 and weighed a bit over 270 lbs. The only thing going for me was that I was 6 feet 5 inches tall, so I was able to carry that much weight a bit better than most. However, it was easy to see that I was, in fact, fat. I lived in the beautiful town of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho at the time. Coeur d’Alene is full of outdoor activities all year. In the winter, ski slopes and cross country skiing are very popular activities. In the summer, the town comes alive with lake activities and hundreds of miles of activities that make it easy for anyone to cycle or run without worrying about cars and people. Each year, Coeur d’Alene hosts the annual Ironman Coeur d’Alene competition. Thousands of athletes come out
